We are seeking a bright, capable, compassionate and computer-literate person to be an intricate part of our team and train as a Sleep Care Specialist. This full time position works directly with patients, instructing them in the proper set-up for overnight, at-home sleep studies in our office and therapeutic equipment (CPAP and BiLevel) and supplies for those who are diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).

Since we are revolutionizing the way OSA is diagnosed and treated, no prior experience with sleep disorders is presumed, although a familiarity with Sleep Apnea is desired. In addition, experience in a healthcare environment dealing directly with patients is required. We have a sophisticated data architecture to manage, score, and track patients, studies, and equipment, so strong computer and data management skills are essential.

The Candidate must have the following Requirements:
• People skills are paramount. The ideal candidate is sociable and derives job satisfaction from the sense that s/he is truly helping others
• Medical Assistance Certification or 3 years experience in a medical environment
• Customer service work experience
• Knowledge of insurance benefits with various insurance companies
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, billing software, Internet)
• Knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnea a plus
• Knowledge of CPAP Equipment a plus
